Hi, I'm MK.
As a therapist with over 15 years of experience, I have sat with people on their worst days, when the path forward seems unimaginable. I have also worked with people who are quietly dissatisfied with life, unclear on how to create connection or meaning, and ready for something different.
I know change is possible. I have seen it, over and over again.
If you are suffering right now, please know that I hold hope for you. I am here to be a guide on your journey forward. When you are ready, I want to know how I can help.
About Me
My clinical background spans inpatient, residential, and outpatient mental health settings, working with adolescents, adults, and older adults. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as adjunct faculty at Immaculata University and have held program director and supervisory roles in community mental health settings.
Who I Work With
I work with teens, adults and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, relationship stress, and major life transitions such as parenthood.
Many of the people I work with tend to think deeply and feel things in a way that can be hard to manage or put into words. From the outside, they are often functioning well. Internally, they may feel overwhelmed, stuck in repeated patterns, emotionally overwhelmed, or unsure how to shift what keeps happening in their relationships or internal experience.
How I work
My style is trauma-informed and collaborative. When appropriate, I take a personal trainer approach, offering observations and feedback as we go to help clients work incrementally towards their goals. Other times, the most important thing is having space to feel and be heard, or simply letting things unfold organically without rushing toward answers. I also do not assume people arrive knowing exactly what they need or how to explain what is happening. Part of the work is slowing things down enough to understand it more clearly.
I am known for being direct, thoughtful, and genuinely engaged. People often tell me I notice patterns quickly and help them put their internal experiences into words.
Many clients come to me after therapy that felt either too rigid and pathologizing, or too loose and unfocused. They are looking for something in between: a therapist who is an engaged human and clinician who moves the work forward, but keeps you at the center of it.
My goal is for therapy to feel both reflective and useful, so you leave sessions with more clarity about what is actually driving your patterns and how to heal.
